'Les Marchandes de Plaisirs' by Madame May Wanda.
These are from a limited edition of 500 watercolours from a French artist, Madame May Wanda, published c 1925.
The preface was written by Francis Carco, a novelist regarded as 'The Last Bohemian'.
In each picture the subject matter is mostly of women in every day life, for example: sitting in a cafe, driving, a flapper behind the wheel of a car and sisters in an opera box.
They are fun, colourful and look great as a set.
