Paul Colin

Set of 12 ‘Le Tumulte Noir’ 1927. He became known as the most celebrated Art Deco poster designers of the jazz age.

His subject was his great friend Josephine Baker who took Paris by storm in 1925

Colin captured Baker and the spirit and wild dance, the Charleston (newly imported from USA) and the rythms of a new art form called Jazz
