Pochoir* plates, on watermarked Arches paper. Loose as issued, from a total edition of 300 plus 50 H.C. (or presentation) copies This is no. 38 of H.C copy. These were executed by Daniel Jacomet in close collusion with Picasso. The original works were created by Picasso in 1946 and are part of his joie de vivre series of paintings
These can make up a great set.
*Pochoir - French for stencil. This is a highly evolved and refined technique for applying water colour, gouache and other mediums through a series of stencils. Jacomet was considered one of the great masters of this technique.
